 The
Essex River House Motel is a quiet, 15 room riverside motel located
on scenic route 133 in Essex.
The motel is off the road and on the river, but close to everything.
From here you can walk to the dozens of antique shops and restaurants
for which Essex is famous. In addition, two of New England's most
popular seafood restaurants are just adjacent to the motel. The
favorite activity of guests is relaxing on the riverside grounds
and enjoying a stunning view of the Essex River estuary, marshes
and Crane Beach. There is a parade of boats from beautiful schooners
to the small motorboats of the clammers going out to work the clam
flats at low tide.

Motel is convenient to other nearby towns including Gloucester,
Rockport, Manchester-By-The-Sea, Salem and Newburyport. Boston and
the New Hampshire/Maine seacoast are within an hour by car. Area
